Our Sweet Bee Rescue Balm will save your dry, stressed skin without funky chemicals whose name you can't pronounce. We use all-natural ingredients like beeswax, our raw honey, coconut oil, Vitamin E oil and borage oil. Perfect for those trouble spots that crop up, and great for the dryness that can come with wisdom and mature skin.
Borage oil is cold-pressed from a Mediterranean herb that produces little edible blue flowers, and coincidentally happens to be favorite plant of honeybees and beekeepers. The star-shaped flowers, that are often sugared for cake decorations or eaten in salads, produce an abundance of nectar. And honeybees also collect the white pollen to feed to their brood. In beekeeper circles, and beyond, the plant is often called Bee Bread, because of its nutritive value to honeybees.
Borage oil is used topically to treat eczema, acne, rosacea and psoriasis and it contains essential fatty acids that repair and hydrate your skin. Honey has its anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties, and beeswax helps seal in the all the goodness. We suggest you apply the balm to problem areas before bedtime. A little goes a long way.
We have packaged the balm in 1 ounce tins and we hope you like as much as our testers did!
