Holiday Candle Class 🎃 🦃

Have some fun in our Honey House in September and October making pure beeswax candles, and get ahead on your holiday décor! Come make some spooky Halloween ghosts and a skull, a plump Cinderella pumpkin and vintage turkey for your Thanksgiving table, and a Christmas tree and pinecones for December.

You’ll pour and finish them using professional grade silicone molds, learn how to make them at home, and learn a lot about the craft of beeswax candlemaking from the beekeepers. You’ll see live bees under glass in our observation hive and visit with our friendly Nigerian Dwarf goats. Participants will pour the candles in class and return, at their convenience briefly, to finish them.

You’ll take home more than $100 worth of gorgeous, all-natural beeswax candles for your own use or gifting.

Candles you’ll make:

• 1 Cinderella pumpkin, 4.5 inches x 2.5 inches, burn time 20 hours
• 2 ghosts, 3x3 inches, burn time 6 hours
• 1 skull, 3x3x4 inches, burn time 12 hours
• 1 turkey, 3.5x3.5 inches, burn time 10 hours
• 1 Christmas tree, 4x3, burn time 10 hours 
• 2 pinecones, 2x2 inches, burn time 5 hours
