Beeswax Dipped Amaryllis Bulbs

We’ve been dipping amaryllis bulbs for days in the Honey House - big, fat bulbs full of the promise of those gorgeous, giant blooms everyone looks forward to each year.

Amaryllis are wonderful during the holidays, but we love them even more in the depths of winter. When January and February feel long and gray, these bulbs push out bright green shoots and bold blooms that make the whole house feel alive again.

This year, we’re putting a natural spin on the waxed-bulb trend. Each bulb is hand-dipped in golden beeswax, straight from our hives. Maybe we’re partial, but the warm, sunny color makes them look a bit like the sun sitting right on your counter.

No soil. No watering. Just set them out in a warm, bright spot and enjoy watching them bloom in 6-10 weeks! It's a little bit of hope and color in the middle of winter.
